Module: Animation
The aim is for students to be able to independently articulate their animated (pictographic/phonetic-cinematic) project. Animation represents a synthesis of image, sound and motion, and in a case of narrative concept, literature as well. In order to realize this multimedia task, the students must learn to articulate their graphic ideas in space and time, to synthesize the image with motion and sound, to develop a sense of timing, learn about the technological assumptions necessary for realization of their goals, to train for both independent and team work and become communicative personalities capable of meeting the needs of the modern media society in their art field.
Final exam includes realisation of an animation project that should last more than 4 minutes. The final exam is divided in two parts: animated picture and thesis – research paper on a specific topic.
