Study program: Conservation and restoration
Module: Conservation and restoration of sculptures and archaeological objects

The objective of the course is to train highly educated and specialized experts in the field of conservation and restoration of sculptures and archeological objects. The basics of conservation and restoration are covered in both theory (lectures) and practice (practical work which includes the application of both modern and traditional methods), from the second to the fourth year of studies. The teaching process includes practical work on the original works of art in studio and in situ. This kind of work demands a high level of artistic and general knowledge, as well as creativity. Based on the acquired knowledge, students are trained to work in the field of cultural heritage protection.
