Module: Animation

The objective of the course is to enable students to independently articulate their individual animated (picture-sound-moving) project based on a narrative template. Animation course aims to enable the students to bring life and motion into images previously created in classes of Painting, Drawing, Anatomical drawing, Graphics, Illustration and Lettering, using traditional animation and digital techniques. During the third year of studies, which is the first year in which the students are acquainted with this course, the students learn the basics of media, see the most important films in the history of animation and get involved in practical work within kinematics exercises, where they gain the knowledge and skills needed to create the illusion of motion of objects, various living creatures, atmospheric phenomena and visual effects. The whole fourth years of study is dedicated to students designing and creating  a one-minute-long animated film.
