Module: Graphic design

The objective of this courseis to inform the students and provide them with professional skills for dealing with various forms of Graphic design. During the first two years of studies the students learn the basics of Graphic design through courses of Drawing, Painting, Printmaking basics, Calligraphy, Photography, Anatomical Drawing, Designing forms, History and Theory of Art. In the third year, in addition to the course Nude, the emphasis is on the courses in the following narrow fields: Graphic Communications, Poster Design, Packaging Design, Typography, Lettering and Typeface Design. Accompanied by theoretical courses, they provide students with the knowledge and the skills to qualify for their vocation. In the final year a student focuses on projects within the framework of vocational courses: Graphic Communications, Posters and Packaging Design. Classes are individual and are held on the premises of the Studio for Graphic Design, which are equipped with Macintosh and PC computers and other necessary equipment.
